What is a WPC composite fence?
WPC stands for Wood Plastic Composite: a composite material made of wood fibres and plastic. It combines the look of wood with the dimensional stability of plastic. It is also known as composite fencing.
How much does a Nordvesta fence cost?
A 180 cm wide panel including one aluminium post costs €328 (11 boards), €348 (12 boards) or €368 (13 boards). For the whole fence you add one end post at €99, also complete with post cap. All prices include VAT. The calculator shows your total price straight away.
How many posts do I need?
You always need one more post than the number of panels. Two adjacent panels share one post, also at a corner. So for 5 panels you need 6 posts.
How high is the fence?
Classic is 166.7 cm, 181.8 cm or 197.0 cm high with 11, 12 or 13 boards. Linear is 170.5 cm, 186.0 cm or 201.5 cm high, because its boards are slightly taller.
What is included in a panel kit?
A complete panel kit consists of the WPC boards, a top and bottom rail, L-brackets, cover profiles and self-tapping screws. You order the aluminium posts separately; every post, including the end post, comes with a post cap.
What does co-extrusion do?
With co-extrusion, the board is given a protective outer layer around the WPC core during production. This layer helps protect the core against daily outdoor use and the weather.
Do I need to paint a WPC fence?
No, annual painting or staining is not necessary. Regular cleaning with water and a soft brush is still needed to keep the fence looking good.
Can WPC move or discolour?
Yes. Every outdoor material moves slightly with temperature and moisture and changes gradually with sun and weather. Nordvesta boards are designed for long-lasting colour retention and a clean finish. Allow space for material movement during installation.
Can I install it myself?
Yes, the system is modular. The installation page shows step by step how to install it. If you are unsure about the ground or the measurements, we are happy to help.
What kind of ground do I have?
Soft ground is, for example, soil or grass. Hard ground is concrete or paving. How the posts are installed depends on the ground. Not sure? Mention it in your request and we will advise you.
Can I add a gate?
Yes. A matching aluminium gate costs €549 incl. VAT. We agree the width and opening direction with you.
Do the boards need metal reinforcement?
No. Many WPC fences use steel or aluminium profiles inside the boards to prevent sagging. Thanks to their hollow chambers with internal ribs, their wall thickness and the dense material, Nordvesta boards are stiff enough on their own. This applies to standard installation in normal wind zones; for very exposed or coastal locations we recommend additional measures.
What warranty do I get?
Nordvesta fence systems come with a 10-year commercial warranty against material and manufacturing defects, from the date of delivery. This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights as a consumer. Read the warranty terms
What does delivery cost and how quickly do you deliver?
We deliver within the Netherlands. Delivery costs and delivery time depend on your order and your address. You receive them in advance in your quote, together with the payment method. Your order only becomes final once you accept the quote.
Can I return my order?
Yes. As a consumer you may withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days of receipt without giving a reason. Please contact us before returning the goods so we can arrange receipt and unloading. All about withdrawal and returns
